     We were looking for a Siberian Husky on pet finder and it led us to Bender on Rescue Me! We were contacted the same night we filled out the adoption application online. Two days later, we went to meet Bender and his foster dad. The meeting went great and we wanted to add him to our family. The very next day they did the home inspection and Bender was ours. We are so happy to be this beautiful, sweet dog's forever home!

     We originally adopted our Husky with hopes of giving him a loving home. He grew to be part of the family, but due to severe allergic reactions we needed to find him a new home that would love and care for him as much as we did. So I called around and found that I was not finding any positive help until one gentlemen told me about Rescue Me. So, I immediately posted him and had a few interests. This morning a very nice man called and we discussed Grizzley to find that he was what they were looking for. They were so excited to find he was not already gone, and I was super excited to find someone who could love him and give him more than even we could. So Grizzley had a success story of finding a new home with lots of love to give.

     Maggie was adopted via Rescue Me. She is a wonderful, loving, playful dog and it killed us to put her back up for adoption, but she was constantly running off and the neighbors were starting to complain. She was always friendly to everyone, and would always come back on her own, but she always managed to find a way out of the yard because she needed to exert that energy! Gratefully, the circumstances have changed, and she now has the space she needs to run around within our new fenced in yard and have a great life with us. We love her so much! I would also like to mention that we adopted a second dog through Rescue Me to be a furry best friend for Maggie, a beautiful, loving, playing German shepherd and they are now inseparable! Rescue Me is a wonderful website! Everyone who is interested in getting a pet SHOULD always go through rescue!

     A man sent me an email the morning after I posted Lobo. He was dumped at our house. I met the man who was taking care of him and he said he couldn't keep him, and handed me his leash. What could I do? Our place isn't big enough to keep a large dog and I wanted to see him in a loving home, so I took the leash. It's been a busy three days since then. When Sergio emailed me on Monday, he said he would be working only until noon on Wednesday and asked if he could come see Lobo then. I said yes. I would wait for him to come. Today he came with one of his Great Pyrenees to meet him. They took to each other right away. And Lobo loved Sergio too. Sergio was adamant that he wanted to get Lobo neutered right away. We have a wonderful rescue in called Animal Foundation that does low cost Spay/Neuter. And they will update his shots and also chip him. I had called my vet for prices and was told it would cost around $700 for everything. AF will do it all for $125. So, I wrote Sergio a check that he could use for all Lobo's medical needs. While Sergio was here, Lobo and Mitsy played together. Thank you very much, Rescue Me. It's where Sergio found Lobo.

     I was so lucky to be the first to respond to Bash's post on Rescue Me! Our beautiful fur baby Nala passed away a few months ago from Kenoacidosis. My son and I both took it really hard. She was our world. Lately, I have been having a strong feeling that even though we loved her with all our hearts it was time to find that special pup! Like they say, a house is not a home without a husky! Very true! So I looked at every post, shelters, rescues, and any place I could. I knew that I would know the one husky who needs me! The first post on Rescue Me, I answered was Kiara saying she would be put down! She also was a bonded pair and the woman asked me if I would take both and I said yes! But, after several attempts, she never got back to me. I was getting discouraged after answering more with no luck!! I almost stopped trying! That is when I saw Bash! I said if this was a dead end that I was done for a while! But the next morning I checked my email and Jonah answered me!! I was so excited when he said if I wanted him can I meet him halfway? We were about three hours away. But I had been looking in a few other states, so of course I said yes! We left right away! Bash was everything we wanted and more! He was really scared, but it's been five days now and it's like we have had him forever! He is beautiful and so funny! Being a puppy still, he wants to play all the time! Even at three am! He loves our fenced in acre with his own door. He also loves his bed and is learning to come lay on mine! We already love him so much!! If I would have given up, or not looked on this site I never would have had my fur ball! Plus, I trusted this site! There are way too many scammers and abusers out there, so thank god for Rescue Me!! When we are ready for a Bash to have a sister I know I will use this site again! If you are looking to get a pet, Please adopt one!! Don't go to a puppy mill!! They make it look on the up and up, but most of the time it's a show! When you leave those cute little pups go back to a cage over filled! Meanwhile great animals are being euthanized for no reason other than no one wants an older one!! But, thank you Rescue Me for helping me find our Bash!!

She has a wonderful family with four kids, another dog, and they live in the country. I made sure to confirm the person inquiring was who she said she was with her Facebook profile.      After only a week on the Rescue Me Web site, we found a wonderful home for our neighbors' two Huskies, Tiger and Baby. The new owner is a vet tech who is planning to become a veterinarian. He is just as nice as he can be, and he knows how to train dogs, which these dogs still need. His fiancee loves dogs, too. So, my husband and I are so excited that we were able to help these two Huskies who really needed more space and more TLC to find a person with a big heart and a big yard to love them, like family. They even get to play at the doggie daycare, where the vet tech works, so I think they are going to have lots of fun. We are so happy for them! We are very grateful for Rescue Me for enabling us to find a wonderful home for Tiger and Baby.

     I am glad to be given the chance to comment on your posting. It is great in purpose and really appreciated by people like me. I must share a couple of things that I think would also be an improvement. I lost my Husky and was determined to get another quality dog. I was prepared to travel 1,000 miles if needed. I started close and found that most of the posters did not respond. I did hit on one that stayed on top and was a volunteer about 400 miles from me. The Husky and I bonded and I have adopted her.      We are so happy to have found Kia and her Mom, Andrea, through Rescue Me! Using the site was extremely helpful. We didn't fall in love with the first pretty face we found, we were able to take our time and search for the right fit for our family. We were able to contact Kia's Mom, ask tons of questions and get to know her a bit before we brought her home. There were a few adjustment bumps the first day, but we are all transitioning well. We couldn't be happier! We thought about buying and I am so glad we chose to adopt trough Rescue Me!      The Purr de Leash Project is just officially getting on the map and we ended up with a female Husky/German Shepherd. She is a beautiful two year old that was owner surrendered due to making her love 24/7 outside in the Texas weather and no time for training or caring for her properly. We stepped up to help and what an adventure it was for us! Lots of love, training and chaos with her, but she finally, after many applications, found the perfect home knowing she needed love and training still to come. We initially posted here for rescues only. After no help, we posted her for adoption in hopes of finding the right home that understands Huskies. Especially since the Hunley was more Husky than a German Shepherd. We succeeded in finding the right home with a family that knows the breed and their escape antics, as well the working class dog they are to give them purpose.      My family and I are moving and felt it wouldn't be right to take our young, healthy, active dog to a small home with no place to run. So we posted him on Rescue Me, with the site being known and people actively looking to home beautiful animals like ours. A young couple did come through with open arms for him. He took to them and their daughter. It was surprising yet at the same time a huge relief. I saw the love, patience and understanding they have for his breed. They have another like him at home. So letting him go was a bit easier after seeing that. Thank you Rescue Me for helping us home our Husky.

     Thanks to the wide success of having our Siberians on Rescue Me! We reached a wider group of families looking to add a family member to their home. Neva was the one who came into the Cali shelter system as a stray after her companion was struck and killed. Sadly, she didn't have an interest in the shelter. Our organization rescued her. And although her body was okay, her spirit and heart were broken. She mourned her companion, we had her in a foster home to help, but she was still sad, so we set out in search of a Husky savvy family who were active and would help her heal. Thanks to Rescue Me, Neva was placed in a home with a young active family, a male Husky and kids who she loves her heart is finally healing and she has a family who love her very much.      My son Chris and I needed to add a new K-9 pal to our pack for a playmate for 'Nina' who is a Siberian Husky/White Shepard mix. Looking online I found 'Ghost' and got a hold of Dani at Wiggle Butts Rescue and she set up a time that we could meet and greet. It went well and I fell in love with Ghost as soon as he got in my lap and slurped my face. I got him on the spot. He is a good boy and loves to give snuggles and slurps. He is the fourth member of our 'pack' and fits right in and gets along with everyone. Thanks so much for helping us find one another! Rescue Me rocks!!

     We decided to wait a bit to adopt a Siberian Husky and I unsubscribed to Rescue Me. However, the next morning there was a rescue email and we looked at the first dog on the list and the rest is history. The owner, who was moving out of state and had to find a good home for her beloved dog, returned our call. A couple hours later she brought the dog here for a visit and she and our other dog, a Husky Mix, got along beautifully. We immediately fell in love with her. Previously (for 12 years) we had a Siberian Husky with blue eyes and our new baby also has blue eyes. It was two days before the owner could contact our vet and it seemed like the longest weekend ever. She comes from an excellent home and is well mannered, sweet tempered, beautiful, and we all love her very much. That is her picture above this letter.      I had a few calls for our beautiful Frisco. We were so sad that we had to give him up due to my daughters allergies. We heard about this rescue site and posted his information. We were skeptical at first because we got phone calls from Canada and far away so we were thinking that no one was going to find him. But, wow! After only two weeks of being on Rescue Me, a wonderful, loving family very close by contacted us. We made a great connection, and he now has a wonderful loving home with the exact family that we would love for him to be with! Thank God for sites like this!!! What a blessing for everyone!

     Rescue Me allowed me to find the perfect home for my two year old Siberian Husky, Laska. He was an amazing companion for my seven year old Husky; however, he didn't have the best upbringing. When I rescued him several months ago, he was being crated in a hot garage from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. He was extremely underweight to the point you could feel his spine to the touch and his back butt bones were sticking out. In the couple months that I had him, I discovered how gentle, cuddly and calm he was considering what he had already been through. Once I was able to break Laska of using his crate as a bathroom and he became house broken, I accepted the fact that he was too young to still be crated for the majority of the day and that he deserved something even better than myself. I found an amazing home for him today. A young couple who fell in love with him the moment they saw him. I could see the excitement in their eyes when they played and walked with him. Although I am upset and sad to see him go, he deserves the best and that's what he is getting. He is getting a family that will be able to smother him with love and affection and he will rarely have to be crated. I know he'll do just fine. Your website provided me with the opportunity to find Laska his forever home and I'll be forever grateful. Thank you.

     Saw this website, and got this good looking Siberian Husky. I had great contact with owner through text. She was very emotional letting her dog go, but that shows she loves him.      We had Anakin since he was eight weeks old and loved him instantly. Sadly, our work schedules changed so that he was in the crate/kennel for nine hours/day instead of a max of three. It was heartbreaking, but we decided that he deserved a new family that would love him like we do but give him the attention and exercise his breed needs. We posted his picture with a quick summary of the situation. Within one hour, I was receiving calls to adopt him. I spoke with a man named Matt who had just lost his eight year old Siberian Husky the week before. I just knew he was the perfect fit. He and his girlfriend Nicole drove two hours to meet little six months Anakin, and they knew he was right for them. We gave them all his supplies and some last minute love before handing him off to his new forever family. With heavy hearts, we drove away but are in contact with the family on Facebook and through texting so we can get updates. Rescue Me was the best service and more trustworthy when it came to finding a new forever home for our little buddy. I know next time we look to add a new member to our family, this will be the first place I look.

     When I began searching for a Husky, I was looking for a puppy. I happened to come across Rescue Me, and I saw Luna. Then I saw the words, 'This animal will be euthanized soon.' and my heart dropped. I immediately called, and before I knew it, I was driving the 150-mile drive to get her. We bonded instantly. It wasn't all perfect, but she has made so much progress. She is amazing and my best friend. Luna has changed my life and my family's life.

     Thank you to Rescue Me. Because of this site, I was not just able to find a home for Tacoma but a forever home for her. Adopting out an animal is so hard due to people wanting them for the wrong reasons or not even having knowledge on the breed of puppy they want to bring into their home. Tacomas story started at the dog park when her mom met another unfixed husky. I thought that maybe she was fine until a few weeks passed by when I noticed Koda had gained weight. I contacted the vet and brought her in, still too early for the vet to tell she had me come back in two weeks. So two weeks came and another trip to the vet. While at the vet they gave her an ultrasound, sure enough, she was pregnant with three tiny puppy's. A few weeks later, the puppies arrived. They were so cute and tiny, but I knew I could not keep them all. So I put up Tacoma on Rescue Me. Within two weeks I started to get interest in her. So many people wanted her, but knew nothing about the breed. I was searching for the perfect fit. Siberians require so much training, grooming and exercise and also cause a lot of destruction in their first year. I had people think they were like a cat for people who thought they could be kept outdoors. Until an email came through that ended up being the perfect new owner for Tacoma. Knowing that the puppy still could not leave her mom for another six weeks, she still met up with me provided me proof of prior vet care for other animals in the past as well as the vet I for for me to contact. A home check that will be done prior to release of the animal. I'm so thankful to Rescue Me for helping Tacoma find her forever new home. I recommend this site to anyone who needs to find their pet a new home.

The second foster I wrote to called me within five minutes and we had a great conversation! This was the best experience and the process was very quick. It took less than a week to get all the paperwork together to adopt Maddie. We love her to bits and Paris Salili is an excellent foster. You can tell how loving and patient she was with her puppies. My daughter and I are discussing about getting another puppy too. Maddie has adjusted extremely quickly to her new home.      We rescued a purebred Siberian Husky. The previous owner just tossed her out on the street during a snow storm. We couldn't resist saving her. We brought her home and treated her as our own. It was such a quick rescue that we did not research the breed. She was a runner, she just wanted to run free. We have a big yard, but no fence. And this breed is known to run right threw invisible fences. Tying her outside to our trees only lasts so long. So we decided she needed more than we could offer her. Thanks to Rescue Me, our precious Siberian Husky was just adopted by a wonderful family who graciously sends us pictures of how happy she is running and playing in the their fenced yard with their other Siberian Husky. We are so pleased at how well this adoption has turned out. Rescue Me has been a wonderful site for us to find the perfect family for her. We are forever grateful! Thanks.

     Dear Jeff, I cannot thank you enough for helping me find a home for our two Huskies, Cali and Kona. It is actually the second time I posted them on Siberian Huskey Rescue. Let me tell you my story. The first adoption by a wonderful lady with three little kids, working full time, who found the two Huskies to be way too much for her to handle. I always take the dogs back if it does not work out because I too do not want them to be euthanized or given into a bad home. Well, Siberian Huskey Rescue Me has found the two dogs a new, wonderful home. I am grateful for all the attention and calls I have gotten from dog lovers. I could no longer handle four dogs which my boys brought home from college and were left with me. Thank you, Rescue Me, for your help.

     Gabby was a local police find, and no one claimed her, so we went on the search for the perfect fit family for her. She was an absolute dream, gets along with kids, cats and dogs. We were looking for a family that had kids, another dog and a fence. This girl was very social and any Husky owner can tell you, a bored Husky, is a dangerous thing because they are escape artists. We did have a criteria we were specifically looking for. We found the perfect family. She will have her own little boy to grow up with, and a high strung Chorkie, who is energetic enough to keep them both occupied. We could not have found a better situation for her to be in. Thank You, Rescue Me!
