Rescue Me ID: 13-11-29-00384ollie (male)
ollie is my dog. im currently in the process of moving into a new apartment. i cant have pets. unfortunately im not the in right situation to try and wait on an apartment where i can keep him. i just really want more than anything for him to be a happy dog and live with a family who will love him. he is a pit/husky mix. he knows basic commands. sit, lay down, he stays, he can even give you high five! hes got a lot of energy. he would be a great running partner. hes pretty gentle. his excitement gets the best of him sometimes but i feel like with time he will grow out of it. he LOVES people and other dogs. LOVES to play!!

Rescue Me ID: 13-11-08-00081Angel (female)
Angel is a sweetheart. Great on the leash, very gentle-no pulling, crate trained and good house manners. Great with adults and older children. As in Huskeys, she is mouthy; does not bark. Approx 6 years old, UTD on shots, spayed, HW-. Angel is a wonderful girl and is looking for a fantastic forever home. Application and home visit are required if she is the one you want to add to your family.

Rescue Me ID: 13-08-09-00258Patches (female)
Meet Patches, a Norwegian Elkhound mix. She was a stray who ran wild in my neighborhood for over a year. Me and several neighbors tried repeatedly to capture her with no success. A couple of months ago, I was on my way to the grocery store during a thunderstorm when Patches suddenly appeared in the road in front of me. The thunder was intense. I came to a stop and Patches ran to the side of my van. I turned off the van and opened the door, only to see her roll over on her side. I got out, petted and comforted her and suddenly she was in my van. Due to her past, Patches would be best as an only pet. She has some dominance issues with the other dogs. She had been on her own so long, that she really doesn't know how to behave as part of a pack. She loves humans, though. Please call 423-480-1721 to arrange a meet and greet with Patches. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Tennessee
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
