Rescue Me ID: 14-04-24-00280Niko (male)
Niko is a 9 month old Siberian Husky. He is pure white, with white eyes. Niko was dumped out of a car in an attempt to get rid of him. Niko is deaf. He LOVES other dogs and is definitely the submissive one. Niko gets along great with our 4 pound dog and 85 pound dog. We have a 20 month old and 11 year old child. He is GREAT with both. Niko is still a puppy, so he has a lot of energy and still in his chewing phase. He also loves to crash on the couch and sleep. Niko is house broken on a schedule and crate trained. His ideal home would have another dog, and an active family. He would make an awesome hiking or running buddy!

My name is spencer. I am a Siberian husky timberwolf mix. I am around 4 years old and love to be outside. I like to come inside sometimes at night when it gets really cold out. I listen very well when you talk nicely to me, I get scared if you yell at me. I like to play with other dogs, I prefer them to big like me. I am ok with little dogs and puppies as long as they arnt in my face all the time. I have not attacked any human or animal. I will stay in a fence. My humans would like to meet any potential new human that would like to give me a new home before I get to go home with you.

Rescue Me ID: 14-04-06-00325Lila (female)
Lila is a Husky/German Shepherd mix. I adopted her when she was 9 months old. She will be 2 in June. She goes to doggy day care every day and is great with all dogs. She loves the dog park. I do not know what her life was like prior to adopting her as they had no information other than owner dropped her off but she has had a good life with me, however, she can be fearful of new people and suffers from separation anxiety. She does warm up to new people given time. I have to try and find her a new home as financially I must. She would do best with a couple or a family with older kids and a backyard or lots of outdoor space. She is high energy and delights in being free at the dog park. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in South Carolina
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
