Very sweet, laid back boy. Still needs some basic obedience training but is pretty well-behaved for car rides, vet visits, etc. Ideally needs a home where he can stay primarily inside and/or where someone is home most of the time, as we suspect he escaped from his previous owner. Scheduled be fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped before being adopted out.

|Animal ID: 1418**Coming Soon** Lucy (female)|
Sweet, Sweet, Lucinda will be adoptable soon! We call her Lucy for short. She is the sweetest girl we have ever met. She loves EVERYONE! She is an Aussie/Husky mix (we think), spayed female, 42 lbs, and is about one year young. Lucinda gets along well with our 11 month old pup, and they play, and play, and PLAY! She is learning to walk on a leash, to sit, to play with toys, and crate training. Lucinda chases our cat, but our cat teases dogs by running up to them, repelling off of them, then running away, so she may be ok with a well behaved cat. She seems to have a high prey drive and gets very excited about squirrels in the back yard. We are training her daily, and she is learning quickly! She comes when called or to a whistle. She cocks her head in the cutest way. Lucy will be a wonderful friend to the lucky person that adopts her later. We will miss her! If you think you might be the perfect family for Lucy please fill out an application at http://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application Her adoption fee is $295 and all proceeds from her adoption go towards future rescues (Less)

This cute two year German Shepherd mix is very submissive to me most of the time. However, she is very shy and anxious, usually scared of anyone that comes to the house. Since I'm allergic to her fur, I've made the decision to find her a new home so she can enjoy both indoor and outdoor life.

|PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in South Carolina|
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
