Rescue Me ID: 14-08-11-00732Ace (male)
Ace is a high energy loving dog whom I rescued from abuse and neglect. He still is skittish and growls if grabbed at or scared and though he's got free range of food now still steals food if in hands or on table and such. He's a very good dog and has been but my new living situation has me forced to try to rehome him. I love him dearly and want what is best for him.

Rescue Me ID: 14-08-05-00322Buddy (male)
Buddy is about 3 years old. I don't know if he is full or not, but he looks the part. His eyes are blue, although the photo doesn't show it. Buddy does not get along well with children, that's why I'm looking for him a new home. I think he would do well in an all adult family as an only dog. please contact me for more info. Thanks, Steve

Rescue Me ID: 14-07-16-00138Jake and Jax (male)
We need to re-home Jake (white) and his brother Jax (black, who has cataracts) because Jake has recently been too aggressive with a neighbor's dog, and he is now a liability being kept here. They are both super sweet around all people, just not other animals. We want to keep them together.

Rescue Me ID: 14-06-24-00237Luna (female)
Luna is looking for a place to RUN! She is a 5 year old Siberian Husky. We live in a busy neighborhood, and she keeps getting out of our fence. We love her, but are afraid she is going to be seriously hurt. Luna is spayed and has heartworms. She had her heartworm treatment and is going great! She loves to run and play! Luna is very affectionate and just loves LOVE. Need an exercise buddy? She would be great to run or walk with! No re-homing fee, but vet reference and interview required.

Rescue Me ID: 14-04-06-00325Lila (female)
Lila is a Husky/German Shepherd mix. I adopted her when she was 9 months old. She was 2 in June. She goes to doggy day care every day and is great with most dogs. She loves the dog park. I do not know what her life was like prior to adopting her as they had no information other than owner dropped her off but she has had a good life with me, however, she can be fearful of new people and suffers from separation anxiety. She does warm up to new people given time. I have to try and find her a new home as financially I must. She would do best with a couple or a family with older kids and a backyard or lots of outdoor space.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in South Carolina
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
