Millie is a gorgeous blue-eyed Siberian Husky with perfect markings. Millie was surrendered in June '14 through no fault of her own. Her mistress was found to have stage 4 cancer and Millie was baggage that was too hard to deal with at the time. At the time they would fill the food bowl and she had free reign hence, she was a bit over weight. She has lost a few pounds but needs to lose a few more. Millie is a gentle giant....all she wants is love...and her meal on time. lol She shares the garage space with an Australian Cattle dog named Rascal. Rascal is just a year old and makes Millie crazy with his high energy. He needs something to herd ... (Read More)and all she wants is a couch. During the hot weather she would hold until the cooler evening time and come in and resume laying on an air conditioning vent. Millie tends to be more drawn to females than males. Millie needs a fenced yard to call her home with a stay at home mom or retired female in the house. She will roll-over for belly rubs and gives kisses. Millie is very smart and loyal just asking for some love and a home to call her own. PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in South Carolina
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.

lnteresting Siberian Husky Trivia Low-Cost South Carolina Spay & Neuter Clinics
Huskies were bred from dogs indigenous to the Siberian Arctic. Huskies were imported to Alaska during the Nome Gold Rush. Teams of Huskies were used during Gunnar Kaasen's 1925 run to deliver diphtheria vaccine to Nome. The last Siberian Huskies were exported from Siberia in 1930, after which the Soviet government closed the country's borders to outside trade.
