Beautiful blue-eyed full-breed husky in need of home that is willing to train her. She has begun getting out of fence, and because we're in a rental home, we cannot keep her. I am not in good health and have not been able to train her, so she is kind of hyper at times. But she is kennel-trained and loves giving kisses! I need her adopted as soon as possible because of the fence situation.

Rescue Me ID: 15-06-07-00708Opie (male)
Black in color White markings under neck and on some toes. Long hair, and stands ground to top of his back approximately 30in and approximately 60 to 65lbs. I want everyone know. Opie is in a 10x10 kennel outside. Due to no where for him to run and be free (we have no fenced in yard) we are trying to find him a larger area, and a owner that will LOVE HIM as much as we do. We can't bare the thought f letting him go, but we know he needs to be able to be some where that he can run until his hearts content. Opie is very lovable, very good with children and adults. No TRUE PET LOVER would be disappointed. You've heard my pea for our pup Opie, PLEASE someone hear Opies cry for a large area to run and roam freely, and for a new friend that will love him, once again, as much as we do. Thank You, Amy Baginski (Less)

Very loving and gentle, very good with kids. Love's to be talked to (he try's to talk back) and brushed. I have been taking care of him since the original owner let him go due to his size. He is a big boy weight is around 100-125 lbs. He needs a home that has a nice big area for him to run and play. Has to have fenced in yard if keeping outside. sorry no pictures on my computer but can send a picture from my phone to serious inq.

Rescue Me ID: 15-05-17-00185Apollo (male)
Looking for a good home for Apollo. He is a 17 month old Husky. With our schedule we are not able to give him the care he needs. Looking for someone who either has Husky's or knows the breed. He has been aggressive to certain members of the family. He loves to play and is very, very fun to play with. His only aggression is when he is laying down or in the evening. We have children and because he doesn't give any warning, he has bitten them several times when they have tried to pet him. He would never just attack anyone for no reason, but it is a danger for us having children in our home. If you would like to speak to me about Apollo in more detail please give me a call. I live in the Greenville SC area. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in South Carolina
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
