looking for a good home for our sweet girl. She is very loving, loves to run and play, is great with other animals and people. She is almost 4 years old, up to date on all vaccines and free of fleas. Unfortunately my husband and I are not able to give her the attention she deserves anymore as we are both in school and have a new baby. She is very good with our daughter. We have also moved to a new place where she is unfortunately cooped up most of the time. Said needs a home where she can run and play to her hearts content. Sadie also has a sister who we are also trying to rehome and would love for them to go to a forever home ... (Read More)together if possible (see post about Bella the Australian Shepard) (Less)

Someone pointed out that she may be a Carolina Dog breed. She is a big girl at 70lbs. She has been with us about 7 months. She is a sweetheart and if I didn't already have 11 rescues we would keep her. Note that she can be a fence climber so whoever adopts her needs to make her an inside dog and take her out while being supervised or have a 6-8 foot fence. Home visit may be required. We desire someone that has handled bigger dogs and someone that can give her a safe ... (Read More)and loving home. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in South Carolina
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.

lnteresting Siberian Husky Trivia Low-Cost South Carolina Spay & Neuter Clinics
Huskies were bred from dogs indigenous to the Siberian Arctic. Huskies were imported to Alaska during the Nome Gold Rush. Huskies are named after tribes of Inuits called Huskies. The last Siberian Huskies were exported from Siberia in 1930, after which the Soviet government closed the country's borders to outside trade.
