Jewels is a great dog and I've had her for about a year now but due to a recent lost in mine and my husbands jobs we are no longer able to care for so many animals and we are needing to down size. She is microchip and the adopter will need to change that

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-18-00709Teeko (male)
Teeko is a sweet and affectionate boy who loves to be around adults, children and other dogs. He is house trained and calm while left alone as we have watched him remotely after leaving him alone. He will just lie down and wait for us to return. He can sit, lie down and shake. He loves to have his head and ears scratched. Teeko needs a fenced in yard and we can not provide him with that at the moment. He was removed from a home where he had been abused and he was given to us for temporary keeping. We have given him the best care we can but he needs a yard he can play in. His current rabies tag shows 2015. Adoption fees are only to help cover the costs we have incurred while keeping him. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-12-00066Kodak (male)
Kodak is one in a million. He is a 4 year old Siberian Husky that is good with everything besides cats. I live downtown and just got another full time job and I feel like I'm not giving him what he deserves. I want to find him the perfect home where he can run, be loved, and live an amazing life. I hate to do this but I know he will be happier where he can be exercise and do something other than hang out in the house all day. Call me if interested. Thanks

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-10-00596Haze (male)
Haze is a 14 month Pitt/husky mix. He is house trained and knows some commands. He loves to rest next to you while on the computer or watching tv, but would rather join along for a walk or jog. He was left behind by an old roommate and I am no longer able to keep him because he started digging around the gate since my neighbors got 2 Pitt Bulls next door. My chihuahua had to be hospitalized last week from a broken rib and multiple bites after he got into the neighbors yard due to holes dug by haze. He is a good dog, but I can no longer keep him due to the risk of this happening again. Please provide him with a good home.

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-08-00098Mako (male)
Mako is your typical talking Husky! His only weakness is squirrels, they run along the fence and torture him, lol! Submissive, Smart, Sweet, Healthy, and Beautiful! I have had Mako since he was 8 weeks old. He is everything you would want in a dog and I will only adopt him to the perfect home. Would love for him to be an inside dog with kids, other dogs, or an active persons running buddy! He is close to perfect and deserves the best. I will keep Mako forever if I do not find him a better home than he has already.

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-10-00063Lil Bit (female)
Lil Bit is a 40lbs hound/husky/beagle mix. She loves cuddles and walks, and will do lots of tricks for a treat. She's good at going on runs, but is also more than content to lay around the house. As long as she can be around the humans she's happy! All of her vaccines as well as her wellness exam and heartworm test were given in May. She's been on monthly trifexis for several years. I lost my housing situation last november and have been struggling to get back on my feet. We are couch surfing and living in a tent currently, and with the weather and my non-existent funds I feel unfit to take care of her. She loves cats and humans of any age/gender. She's skittish about other dogs though, so she'd do better as an only dog - however she can be slowly introduced to the right dog (we stay at a place with one other dog a lot right now). She has sit, stay, speak, hush, high five, and lay down commands. She's incredibly smart, and picks up on routines quickly. I have a crate for her (we don't use it, but if you want it for acquainting her with a new house I've got it in storage) and food and water bowls. The rehoming fee ($20) is only to make sure she doesn't go to the wrong home. She has so much love to give and I know she'll make someone else as happy as she has made me (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-03-00525Sugar (female)
Hi, my name is Sugar (because I am such a sweety). Im white with black spots and two beautiful blue eyes. My previous owner decided to tie me to a tree before they moved out of their house and never came back to get me. Fortunately my new friends took me in and let me live inside until they can find me a new home. I've gained some weight and look much happier these days. The family that brought me inside let me stay with their two daughters and have proven to be very good with children. I've also been very friendly and kind to the other family cat and dog. Ive must have been raised inside with my other family before being abandoned because I'm potty trained and we'll mannered. Unfortunately my new friends can't afford to keep me here because of financial issues. I'm a very sweet and snuggly girl. I love to run and visit with any and every dog I see. Someone please help me find a loving forever home. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-05-16-00423Odie (male)
Odie has a bit of a road to recovery. He is a 1 year old husky who only weighs 35 lbs. He is underweight and has a bad case of demodex mange. He has started treatment and his foster mom is working hard on getting his weight to a healthy point. Odie is the result of a back yard breeder. We know with TLC he will be one handsome family member! Odie is doing great temperament wise in foster and adores the family he is with. He is good with other dogs too! He is eating well for his foster mom and loves car rides and cuddles. He is so sweet and trusting that he even took a nap right in the middle of the vet office waiting room with all of the barking dogs, meowing cats, and people in and out. He's just an all around sweetheart!! Please consider sponsoring Odie and his road to recovery. His bills are adding up and he hasn't even been neutered yet! Any donations can be made to firstname.lastname@example.org on PayPal or direct to the vet at Guignard Animal Clinic, 803-775-9152 under the For Belle's Sake Account and the name 'Odie'. He is going to the vet for weekly treatments for his mange and his injured foot that he came to rescue with. He will be well soon we just know it! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in South Carolina
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
