Rescue Me ID: 16-07-10-00063Lil Bit (female)
Lil Bit is a 40lbs hound/husky/beagle mix. She loves cuddles and walks, and will do lots of tricks for a treat. She's good at going on runs, but is also more than content to lay around the house. As long as she can be around the humans she's happy! All of her vaccines as well as her wellness exam and heartworm test were given in May. She's been on monthly trifexis for several years. I lost my housing situation last november and have been struggling to get back on my feet. We are couch surfing and living in a tent currently, and with the weather and my non-existent funds I feel unfit to take care of her. She loves cats and humans of any age/gender. She's skittish about other dogs though, so she'd do better as an only dog - however she can be slowly introduced to the right dog (we stay at a place with one other dog a lot right now). She has sit, stay, speak, hush, high five, and lay down commands. She's incredibly smart, and picks up on routines quickly. I have a crate for her (we don't use it, but if you want it for acquainting her with a new house I've got it in storage) and food and water bowls. The rehoming fee ($20) is only to make sure she doesn't go to the wrong home. She has so much love to give and I know she'll make someone else as happy as she has made me (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-03-00525Sugar (female)
Hi, my name is Sugar (because I am such a sweety). Im white with black spots and two beautiful blue eyes. My previous owner decided to tie me to a tree before they moved out of their house and never came back to get me. Fortunately my new friends took me in and let me live inside until they can find me a new home. I've gained some weight and look much happier these days. The family that brought me inside let me stay with their two daughters and have proven to be very good with children. I've also been very friendly and kind to the other family cat and dog. Ive must have been raised inside with my other family before being abandoned because I'm potty trained and we'll mannered. Unfortunately my new friends can't afford to keep me here because of financial issues. I'm a very sweet and snuggly girl. I love to run and visit with any and every dog I see. Someone please help me find a loving forever home. (Less)

Animal ID: 1234Skye (female)
Skye is an amazing dog, so very sweet. She is a typical husky likes to be ran high energy. We had her on a runner outside, because she cannot go off leash. She is great with our kids and always has been, but we have a baby and toddler now and the toddler falls on her and I am afraid one of these times she will bite, just out of protection of herself.

Rescue Me ID: 16-05-16-00423Odie (male)
Odie has a bit of a road to recovery. He is a 1 year old husky who only weighs 35 lbs. He is underweight and has a bad case of demodex mange. He has started treatment and his foster mom is working hard on getting his weight to a healthy point. Odie is the result of a back yard breeder. We know with TLC he will be one handsome family member! Odie is doing great temperament wise in foster and adores the family he is with. He is good with other dogs too! He is eating well for his foster mom and loves car rides and cuddles. He is so sweet and trusting that he even took a nap right in the middle of the vet office waiting room with all of the barking dogs, meowing cats, and people in and out. He's just an all around sweetheart!! Please consider sponsoring Odie and his road to recovery. His bills are adding up and he hasn't even been neutered yet! Any donations can be made to email@example.com on PayPal or direct to the vet at Guignard Animal Clinic, 803-775-9152 under the For Belle's Sake Account and the name 'Odie'. He is going to the vet for weekly treatments for his mange and his injured foot that he came to rescue with. He will be well soon we just know it! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in South Carolina
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
