Siberian Husky    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Vaccinations Current, Arthritis

Denzie is my father's dog and has been she was a pup. This picture was taken in 2011 and she's 13 now. Dad is in an assisted living facility in Tulsa and can no longer care for his pet. I am taking her to a vet today and will begin boarding her, but this cannot remain an alternative for long. Denzie will need special care in a very loving home, as she is an older dog with some of the issues that implies. She has a very sweet temperament and has won the hearts of the staff at my dad's residential facility.

Cassie is doing amazing in her foster home! She is working on crate/house training and has finally let her foster dad walk her on a leash willingly. Cassie is slightly intimidated by other animals which probably stemmed from her days on the road and in the pound but has socialized with her foster siblings quickly! She has learned sit and is working on down. She is SO smart and sweet. The vet believes she is nearly full grown at 30 lbs and 8-10 months rather than 3-4 we originally thought. She has been spayed, vaccinated, hw tested, and treated for fleas/ticks. 75$ adoption fee. Adopt Cassie today!

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Oklahoma
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
