Desperate to find a loving home for our beautiful Siberian Husky (named) Ice, he is 10 years old, gives a lot of love, and will sing when you do, he does have anxiety when there's a thunderstorm, or if people start yelling, he just wants to be loved, spends a lot of time indoors, goes outside to pee and lay in sun or play in the snow, sleeps inside at night and just wants to be part of the family, we are moving overseas and don't want to put him down as this will break our hearts. Ginger is a red/white, ice blue eyed, spayed purebred Siberian Husky. All of her shots are current, she is microchipped, and very well taken care of. Sadie is a 2 year old husky that we've been taking care of for a couple weeks now. She is very calm and loving, she knows commands and is house broken, her only issue is, is that she has separation anxiety ONLY when you leave her alone. she has medication that she just started on so it should help relax her. My husband and I have a busy schedule so she needs a family that can be home more with her through out the day. She loves being outside and on walks and runs. My fianc and I found a husky roaming the streets about 1 1/2 months ago. We took her in even though we already had 3 other small dogs. She continued to get out of our fence and ran off, well one day the pound came to our door because she was sitting at our back door. When she saw the pound pull up she jumped through the back door. You could tell she was terrified of them. Well I returned home from school and my fianc told me the pound took our precious shadow (the husky). I called the pound and was able to get her back but had to pay a fine for her for about the 2 weeks she was out. She does show some aggression towards men, so we ... She needs a home that can have room to run and unfortunately we don't have that here. Also the pound is just waiting to catch her again, cause they said they would put her down. Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
