This is Liberty she appears to be a young adult lab/husky mix. She has the most gorgeous marble colored eyes and is a long legged beauty. She is currently 55 pounds but is under weight. I see her being 65 to 70 pounds after she gains weight back. She has had a litter of puppies in the past. She is a very sweet, loving and gentle gal. She will sit on command and just wants to be with you. She loves belly rubs and will stand up and put her paws on your shoulders so you can rub her belly. Just a super sweet girl who will make someone a loving companion. I could definitely see her being great with kids(we will kid test her soon, but given her ... Siberian Husky Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered

I have a 7 year old Sable colored Huskie that I am going to have to give up. He is a wonderful dog with people and children but not so much with other animals. He attacked my Beagle in 2010 and last night attacked my Cocker Spaniel. I had hoped that the Beagle incident was a one time thing but I guess it wasn't. He is truly a people dog but needs to be in a home where he is the only pet. He has never been aggressive with people or children and this is killing me to have to do this. I have 4 other rescue dogs that I have to protect. I am trying to find a shelter or kennel that will keep him temporarily. His shots are current but due ... PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Oklahoma
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.

lnteresting Siberian Husky Trivia Low-Cost Oklahoma Spay & Neuter Clinics
Huskies were bred from dogs indigenous to the Siberian Arctic. Huskies were imported to Alaska during the Nome Gold Rush. Huskies are named after tribes of Inuits called Huskies. The last Siberian Huskies were exported from Siberia in 1930, after which the Soviet government closed the country's borders to outside trade.
