Prue Humane Society Update pics of Cherokee. Paulla runs a rescue in Kellyville & after meeting him she took him home. Paulla's bio on him. Cherokee is two years old, he was neutered the 13th of April, needs to be only dog and have privacy fence, he is extremely hyper and would do well with someone who is very active that could take him on long walks or runs daily. Needs work with obedience. He's going to be the right dog for someone but he needs a owner who's got lots of dog experience or has owned Huskys previously. Contact # 918-851-4120 thanks

Rescue Me ID: 17-04-13-00419Betty (female)
Please help! URGENT! Betty is 7 years old. She's an excellent dog. I broke my arm and am unable to handle her. She's beautiful, she looks like Rin Tin Tin. She's good around children once she gets to know them. She lives with a Pomeranian, and she's good with her. But some dogs she doesn't like. She lives with a cat inside, but she chases cats she sees outside. She'll run outside if the door is open. She can jump a 4 foot chain link fence. She needs a 6 foot privacy fence. She needs a good home!

Petey is a great boy. Petey was hit by a car and left in the ditch for several days before being brought to us. His back left leg is amputated. He gets along very well and deserves only the best home. He is an indoor dog that loves being with his human outdoors. He is working on his housebreaking skills and is doing great.

Rescue Me ID: 17-03-04-00445King (male)
King is a st. Bernard and Husky mix. He is a very sweet boy. He was in the shelter for a very long time. He was very emaciated and appears to have either been hit by a car or beaten badly in the past. His hip has been broken in the past and healed up funny because his owners did not take him to the vet. He is shy at first, he is learning to not be afraid of people. He is very sweet and a big teddy bear. ***Vet references required to adopt***

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Oklahoma
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
