Rescue Me ID: 16-05-31-00327Rosco (male)
Rosco is a very gentle loving dog. Tender kisses. Gentle when being fed treats. Loves to snuggle and be close. Not very vocal. House and kennel trained. Loves to dig. We have had to lay concrete around our fence to keep him from digging under and going to other yards. He does well with men. He growls around females and some kids. Has never bitten anyone but seems somewhat dominant with females and kids. He loves to go on walks. Absolutely loves to play fetch!

Rescue Me ID: 16-05-20-00526Skye (female)
Skye is a stunning dog, she's a beautiful furball with eyes the color of the most beautiful summer sky. I rescued her from a family who was going to have to put her down. She is very active and although I've worked effortlessly on obedience she is still in need of training. She needs a high energy family, someone to help her burn some of her own. She needs to be in a only pet home. She also needs to be in a home with older children, she's not human aggressive but she is rambunctious and could hurt a young child. Skye is attention starved, she spent a year and a half in a kennel. I've done my very best to work with her and she is very smart. She just doesn't know how to properly socialize. She is extremely dog aggressive as well as food aggressive with other pet's. She is not food aggressive to human's. The reason I'm not asking a rehoming fee is because she needs to be utd on her shots as well as obedience training. This does not mean I will not be screening the home she goes to. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-05-09-00300Sophie (female)
Sophie (big) is such a cute little husky girl, she is right at a year old. She is a lower energy husky, talks in her crate, will jump/climb 4-6 chain link fence and DOES NOT LIKE CATS. Sophie is crate/house trained, loves kids and gets along good with medium-larger sized dogs (NO CATS OR SMALL DOGS/ANIMALS). She is UTD on shots, on flea/hw/tick prevention, spayed and chipped. Sophie is being fostered in Kellyville, her adoption fee is $250. **SHE WILL REQUIRE A 6FT FENCE OR ELECTRIC FENCE OR SOMW OTHER MEASURE TO KEEP HER IN THE YARD**

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-21-00187King (male)
This is King. He is a neutered male husky/shepherd mix. He is about 2-3 years old, and I have had him for about a year now. I work at a vet clinic, and one of the technicians found him wandering by her house. She could not keep him, and was going to turn him into the humane society. Instead, I took him in hopes of finding a home for him. He is a very energetic and loving boy. He has bonding strongly with my husband, who takes him on walks every night. The girl who found him let him play with her small dog, and he did great. He is aggressive toward larger male dogs, however. King would be happiest in a home with no other pets and no children, as he can sometimes become nervous. He loves to go on walks and run, and will bond strongly to the right owner. He will need to be sedated before any vet visitor, however, because he gets spooked. He would be a great companion for somebody, and if I did not have other dogs I would love to keep him. I will require a veterinary background check on anyone who would like to adopt King. Please contact me with any questions! This boy deserves a good home! He is up to date on all vaccinations, heart worm negative, and currently on heart worm prevention! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-11-00078Nanuk (male)
I am moving out of the country and having to rehome my dogs. Nanuk is very friendly, fantastic with adults and kids and good with most dogs. He is an escape artist, so you must have an appropriate fence. He is kennel trained and used to being in the kennel while I'm at work and my kids are at school. However, when he was adopted, he had some anxiety about this and will require some patience during the transition period. Ideally he would have another dog in the home as he doesn't like to be home alone. He is also housebroken, but did urinate in his kennel when he was rehomed. Again, due to some anxiety. He will need a home where someone can dedicate some time to making him feel secure. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-02-01-00630 (female)
Meet Raven, a 6 years old, Siberian Husky. She is fully vetted, house and crate trained. She would do best with dogs her size and larger. She has a distinctive prey drive and would do best in a home without cats or smaller dogs. Like any husky, she will need an active human partner, monitored play time outside, and secure fencing.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Oklahoma
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
