    Brock is a happy boy now that he doesn't have to live on a chain anymore. He is a 50 pound lab mix and is quickly learning to love the comforts of the indoors. Brock walks nicely on a leash. He appears to be house trained and is learning the manners of a indoor pet dog. He is a little eager to meet people and may jump, but as he is having more attention and exercise, this behavior is improving, as he is a smart boy. Brock loves to go for short bike rides and knew just to trot alongside the bike right away. He would be a good companion for someone that is active and wants a companion for hiking or outings.     Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in New Mexico if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
