Isis is about 1 year old, and has the energy and playfulness typical of a youngster. She has a lovely all-white coat and may be part Samoyed. Isis is house-trained and well-mannered indoors. She gets along well with other dogs and will need a playful male (her preference) canine companion in her forever home. With her youthful exuberance, a little guidance from an experienced owner would help her blossom. Isis is very affectionate, loves being near her people, and always gives back the love she receives many times over.

Rescue Me ID: 14-04-25-00439Ace (male)

Siberian Husky Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Ace is about 2 years old and, though probably part Samoyed, he has the classic husky temperament - very friendly, social, active, and energetic. He's house-trained and well-mannered indoors. This sweet boy is one of the happiest, most playful dogs you could meet - he persistently invites dogs to romp or wrestle, until one of them agrees. He also loves being with people, and his bubbly, cheerful personality is irresistible! Since Ace can be on the mischievous side, he'll require an energetic, playful canine companion, and a patient, experienced Northern breed owner. You'll never have a dull moment with Ace around to entertain you!

Rescue Me ID: 14-04-25-00436Howie (male)

Siberian Husky    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Howie is about 4 years old. He's sweet, well-mannered yet active indoors, house-trained, and likes to ride shotgun in the car. Howie enjoys being with people, and though he's usually content lying by your side, he's also not afraid to climb into your lap and lick your face! Howie is very canine-social, so his forever home must have at least one other dog companion/playmate. He has a medium-high energy level, requires daily exercise, and can be strong-willed, all of which indicate that Howie needs an owner who is experienced with huskies. He's a hoot and will bring lots of joy to the family who adopts him.

Siberian Husky Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

ZUMBA is a fun dog, about 2.5 yrs old here in the summer of 2013,she is spayed and very loving. Zumba is definitely a people dog, she just loves to be with you and help you all day long with whatever you are doing. Zumba is pretty bossy with the other dogs and really only has a couple of dog friends. Her main goal, all day long, is to be with her person. Zumba has high energy so lots of exercise and attention will be a must, this is not a dog you can just leave in the yard all day. If you are a runner, hiker or just an active person in general this is the girl for you.She weighs in just under 50 lbs but she is tall and lean with very long ... (Read More)legs. She grew up in a house so she is good to go as your house dog and companion. Her adoption fee is $130.00 and that includes her spay, shots, worming, and a microchip. Zumba is a really neat dog. PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in New Mexico
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in New Mexico if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
