Siberian Husky    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Male very sweet thinks he is a lap dog. Bis learning how to jog on a leash and also go on hikes. He does bark but not that bad. Knows how to ask to go outside and barks to come back in. I took him in to get a better chance at him finding a forever home. He was a stray and someone shaved him down his fur will never grow back so you will need to be careful in cold temps and also extreme heat. Is good around kids and adults. Would make a great family or companion dog. Loves to be around people.

Rescue Me ID: 16-10-31-00457Tecumseh 'Tuck' (male)

Siberian Husky    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Tuck is a very loving and energetic dog. He is a gentle giant and loves to howl and talk but rarely bark. He gets uncomfortable around small children, 10 years and older i think would be the comfort zone for Tuck. He loves to run and its sort of an escape artist so you must have a high fenced yard because he likes to jump. I want him to be with a caring family and love him just as much as I do.

Siberian Husky    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Very High Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This guy's name is Kratos. I hate to get rid of him, but I just don't have the time to devote to him. He really needs a home with property to run and burn off energy. He will get into things if left alone for to long. He's a digger, but we're working on breaking him of that. It's slowly starting to get better and better. He's wonderful when you're home with him. Sleeps a lot. I'd love to find someone who's home a lot of the time. So he won't be left out by himself. That's when he gets into trouble. He is a puppy, and will get into things if left unattended for to long. He holds it through the night just fine and wakes you up when he ... (Read More)needs to go outside. He's fully house trained as long as be has access to the outside when you're not home. Thank you very much for looking :) Thanks! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Nevada
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Nevada if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.

lnteresting Siberian Husky Trivia Low-Cost Nevada Spay & Neuter Clinics
Huskies were bred from dogs indigenous to the Siberian Arctic. Huskies were imported to Alaska during the Nome Gold Rush. Huskies are named after tribes of Inuits called Huskies. Teams of Huskies were used during Gunnar Kaasen's 1925 run to deliver diphtheria vaccine to Nome. The last Siberian Huskies were exported from Siberia in 1930, after which the Soviet government closed the country's borders to outside trade.
