Ezri is a petite female Siberian Husky, about 12 1/2 years of age and approximately 45 pounds. Her twin brother, Trip, who was her constant companion, passed away about a year ago. Since then she has become very needy regarding companionship. She needs other dogs or humans around all the time, and we just can't provide that for her anymore. Both of us work long hours most of the time and are away from home 14-15 hours at a time. She isn't happy anymore and neither are we because we can't give her what she needs. If she had an environment with another dog or dogs around, or had a human companion who was stay at home, she would be happy. She's ... PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Nevada
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Nevada if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
