LOOKING FOR PERMANENT OR LIFETIME FOSTER We had placed Madison in a foster home, little did we know they would not take care of her as instructed and all of a sudden, her health started to deteriorate. We took her back thinking it was time, but gave her a week to see if things changed, and thank goodness because she's now back to the way she was before going to foster. Madison is looking for a home where there will be someone home most of the day. She tells you when she wants to go out and will go on a potty pad if you don't have a doggie door. We supply all her food and supplements, you just have to pick it up monthly. Her ... (Read More)medical (as she's a senior, our board and our vet decide what she does/doesn't need) is paid for. All we ask the foster is to feed her, let her out when she needs to go, and maybe walk her once a day. You'll be getting an amazing loving dog without having to pay for her food/medical. If you're interested in opening your home to Madison, please call us @ 702.406.9550 to schedule a day/time to meet her. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Nevada
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Nevada if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.

lnteresting Siberian Husky Trivia Low-Cost Nevada Spay & Neuter Clinics
Huskies were bred from dogs indigenous to the Siberian Arctic. Huskies were imported to Alaska during the Nome Gold Rush. Huskies are named after tribes of Inuits called Huskies. Teams of Huskies were used during Gunnar Kaasen's 1925 run to deliver diphtheria vaccine to Nome. The last Siberian Huskies were exported from Siberia in 1930, after which the Soviet government closed the country's borders to outside trade.
