Mini is a very sweet 2 year old husky mix, about 40 pounds. I am needing to rehome her due to financial difficulties. She does have her problems and I will explain. She is extremely shy and nervous around new people, especially men, loud sounds outside, and small children. She is good with other dogs, however, and good with cats. She is only partially housetrained, as she is very scared outside. She would do well in a quiet house with a fenced yard, without very young children. Mini is very sweet and quite the cuddler when she warms up to you. No food aggression, nor scared aggression. Kennel trained extremely well. Once used to you, she ... (Read More)is very happy indoors, loves to sit with you and get head scratches, energetic, loves to go to the local dog park, and loves her toys. Mini will come with one food bowl, a couple of her favorite toys, a baggy of her current food, and for a little extra, a medium sized kennel. If interested, also, there is a standing prescription at my vet for a calming collar and anxiety meds. I have not been able to afford it, but it may help with the transition. I truely do not want to rehome her, but this is the best decision for both of us. Thank you for reading. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Nebraska
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Nebraska if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
