We rescued her 2 years ago from life chained to a tree and are her 4th family. We love her to death and wished to have given her a forever home but can no longer keep her due to damages to livestock (maiming and death). Trained, inside dog who needs to be able to get out and run. Raised with 3 other dogs and 3 cats (2 young adults and 1 elderly,) never a problem. Very sweet, eager to please, and affectionate, but high prey drive.

|Rescue Me ID: 14-04-11-00534Jacob (male)|
This beautiful shy boy came to us 2.5yrs ago. He was beaten and abandon by previous owners. He just stayed. Uses dog door sleeps in garage meshed well with our small/lg others dogs and a cat. (plays rough at times with cat) We have not been able to get him to walk on lead, or collar for that matter. Only 1 bath and never finished took 4 people and a horse trough. We are retired and going to travel. We cannot take him, he wont do well traveling at all. Jacob needs a trainer, some one that can devote time and energy towards him. It took me a year and a half to get him to lay inside the house and not freak out. DOES NOT BITE!!! He talks to you like a husky, but you cannot have anything in your hand when approaching him, he will run or cow down whinning. He deserves a forever home. (Less)

Blue eyed female husky has papers and loves kids and adults. She is sweet and gently and loves to play. She eats slow like a lady. We already had 2 older puggles so Kiaya wants to be the only dog in the home. I love her so much but I need to find her a wonderful home.

Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Missouri if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
