Rescue Me ID: 17-04-27-00166Zeva (female)
Zeva is a rescue dog I just got. I am working with her some as I was told she can be aggressive. She is snart and seems to take direction well inside but once outside becomes hard of hearing. She has a very high energy level so exercise is a must. Takes her a minute to warm up but seems to be a sweet girl that just wants to be outside. She needs someone who has experience with huskies.

Bolt is a great dog who only wants to please his family. He only has one eye but don't let that fool you, He can see just fine and loves to play! A fenced in yard is preferred for Bolt. He loves to be outside and go for walks so if you are an active family, Bolt is the boy for you! If you are interested in Bolt please call Pawsibilities Rescue at 517-652-9353 to set up an appointment to meet him!

Rescue Me ID: 17-04-24-00582Rosie (female)
Rosie was pregnant when she was transported from a high kill shelter in Kentucky. She had her puppies and now it is her turn to get a family to call her own. Rosie is a sweet gentle dog who loves to lie around yet will play given the chance. She loves all people big and small, loves to go on walks, is crate and house trained, and knows basic commands. Rosie sometimes has a hard time meeting new animals but given the proper introduction, she should be able to live with another furry friend. Meet Rosie and you will fall in love with her beautiful blue eyes and her sparkling personality to match! Rosie is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, treated with dewormer and flea and heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Rosie, please fill out our adoption application at http://kreacherkonnections.org/adoption-form/ PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPLICATION FULLY Thank you. http://kreacherkonnections.org (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-04-14-00135Annabelle (female)
This saddens our heart, but we are one of those families that should have researched toys breed more than we did. Annabelle is so sweet, so loving, so smart and trainable! She also is high energy, needs more exercise we can provide and needs way more attention than I can give her. We love her and our hearts are breaking that we have to finally admit that after almost two years of trying to make it work. .. we are making ourselves and more importantly HER unhappy! She is safe and loved with us, so we have time to find the right home. We will require questions about your home, your life and your financial status (without getting too intrusive) to be answered. We may want to see your home as well, and if renting, we need to see the agreement that shows dogs are allowed. SHE IS NOT SPAYED, HOWEVER THE ONLY CHARGE YOU WILL HAVE IS TO HAVE HER SPAYED. IT WILL BE DONE BEFORE COMING TO YOUR HOME, SO PLEASE UNDERSTAND IT WILL BE A COUPLE DAYS BEFORE YOU CAN TAKE HER HOME! Perfect fit for Annabelle: No kids YET (after she has had you to herself for awhile, she loves kids so much, but I think she needs to be an only child for awhile, get all the attention, even for a bit) Go to a home with avid walkers, joggers, bikers Obviously have income that can support food, medical, and fun Experience with training dogs (skew has basic training, but needs more attention) (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-13-00343Balto (male)
Meet Balto!! He is a gorgeous boy that was rescued from the shelter after being seized from a hoarding situation. He was housed with over 100 other dogs, so he is used to being around them. Balto needs to go to a home with another dog, but no cats or small dogs please! He is great on leash and loves to go for bike rides. He is a very sweet boy that is eager to please and loves to snuggle up on your lap or play with a squeaky tennis ball. He is great with other dogs, both male and female, but does not do well with small dogs. He has some separation anxiety but is crate trained. He can be a little nervous at first, but that is understandable in a new home with new surroundings. Once he relaxes and settles in, he is very easy going and pretty lazy and laid back. He does well with people of all ages, he just needs to be introduced slowly and to be given time and patience for him to warm up to you. Being around other dogs helps him with his fear and anxiety and helps him to feel more comfortable. Balto does not need a fenced in yard, since he is very good at jumping them. He just needs a longer tie out so he can roam about a bit. Balto is an all around awesome dog that would make a great addition to any family. If you are interested in adopting Balto. |Rescue Me ID: 15-11-27-00481Chevayo (male)|
Hi! My name is Cheveyo. I am a 3.5 year old husky mix. I have lots of energy but mind well. I know how to sit, wait and stay. I am very intelligent. I am house and crate trained. I love toys, and I am very playful. When I first meet people I like to try to act like the boss, so I need someone that will put me in my place right away. I would love to go to a home with someone that has husky knowledge and that will keep up on my training and show me new things to learn. I would do best in a home without very young kids only because I may jump on them and accidentally knock them down. I am up to date on all vaccines, neutered, treated for fleas and heartworm negative. I will also be chipped before leaving rescue. I should go to a home with a high wooden fence. I can and will climb even very tall wire fences. I do quite well on a least requiring minimal corrections. I do not do so well with small animals but I do wonderful with other dogs my size or bigger. NO CATS, I hate them! I would love to have a home with another energetic dog! If you want an awesome boy, that's me!! (a foster home would be considered!!) (Less)

I am a 3.5 year old husky/lab mix. I love other dogs of all sizes. I love kids and all people and am kennel and house trained. I should not be placed in a home with cats as I don't like them at all. I am very sweet and gentle. I weigh 58.9 pounds. I like to go on runs, walks and I like car rides! I know how to sit, stay, wait and if you place a treat on my paw I'll wait for you to remove it and offer it to me before I take it. Aren't I a good boy? I also walk well on a leash with minimal corrections. The husky in me though means that if I get off leash or out of a fenced area I will run and not come back. Oh I love to RUN! I have also been known to dart out doors too so you have to watch me real closely. I have what they call separation anxiety so I have to be kenneled when I'm left home alone. A 6 ft. wood or chain fence would be perfect for me. Please consider me! Fill out an adoption application here www.fewstepsfromhome.com (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Michigan
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
