READ ENTIRE AD BEFORE RESPONDING / Prudence - 3 year old Female Siberian Husky in Saint Charles, MI. She's fixed, UTD on shots, michrochipped and is given trifexis on the 1st of every month. She will come with her shot record, collar, harness and leash! I rescued Prudence about a year ago. She was extremely abused when she was a puppy. She is extremely fearful of everything and everyone! It takes her a long time to get to know new people. I was told that she does good with kids. She's NOT a typical husky. She doesn't have a very high prey drive. She does good with other dogs - even small petite breeds as long as they do NOT pester her. She ... (Read More)does not like/know how to play!! She's NOT good with cats! Prudence is 100% house broken and crate trained! She knows how to sit and lay down! She does dig but not to the extreme that most huskies do. I will be extremely picky when deciding who I will allow to adopt her! She will be rehomed as a HOUSE DOG ONLY. Prue usually sleeps in bed with me. Other wise she likes sleeping in the kitchen on the tile because it's cooler for her. When she decides to sleep in the kitchen I close the baby gates that way she doesn't have the run of the house while I'm sleeping. She is NOT to be an outside dog, PERIOD! Prudence has a slight heart murmur but tested negative for heartworm! She over heats very easily and you must keep her from running. She does not have must of a desire to run so keeping her from running is fairly simple! When responding tell me what your living situation is and what kind of home you can provide for Prudence. Just because you come to meet her does not mean you will be taking her home with you. ALL members of the household must come to meet her including fur-babies as this is a family affair and Prudence must feel comfortable with all members of the family! ! You will be getting one hell of an amazing dog for free so trust me when I say that the hassle that I'm going to be putting you through is worth it and if you don't think so then this dog is not for you! This dog is not just for anybody! When you come to meet her plan to stay for at least 1 1/2 - 2 hours as it will take her at least that long to start feeling comfortable with you. I can guarantee that you will not be taking her home with you on the first visit! I will require that you sign a contract stating that if you ever decide that you no longer want Prudence that you will return her to me! A house check will also be required! You must also send me updates on how she is doing after you get her home! A fenced in yard is REQUIRED. Once I have decided that you are the right fit for Prudence a background check must be completed for each and every member of your household at your own expense through The Internet Criminal History Access Tool (ICHAT) - the cost is $10 each. A copy of the report(s) must be emailed to me. If you are still interested after reading all of the above you can reach me at (Less)

Courtesy Posting - we do not have this animal, we are posting for someone who needs to find a good home. Purebred female Husky. 5 years old, spayed, UTD on all shots, has had regular Heart worm prevention. Does not do well with other animals and it would be better if she went to a home with older kids or no kids as she does become food possessive around children. If seriously interested and you will give this dog a forever home and commit to her lifelong responsibility please contact 616-902-5768 Sarah. You will meet with the owner and discuss to ensure you are a good fit and have the proper lifestyle for this girl.

Sadie is a very sweet tempered blued eyed blond Siberian Husky that we adore. However, our family is going through a very difficult transition period right now with moving a lot and Sadie is not adjusting well due to anxiety. We can no longer keep her. She needs a loving family that has someone home all the time and can help work with her to break her of her anxiety. She really is such a sweet dog and we love her very much, we just aren't enough for her right now. We have had her since she was a baby. We should have named her Houdini because she is an escape artist. She also likes boat rides!

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Michigan
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
