Vito needs a home with no small dogs as he plays a little to rough with them. *Note - Vito is currently located in Florida, but transportation will be provided to an adopter in the New England area.

I have a pitbull mix that was born April 10th 2013 so he's just over 1 year old. He had 1 brownish green eye and one blue eye as he is part huskey. He's a very loving dog. Gets along great with my 14 year old yorkie. When he first meets new people he barks and howls for about 5 minutes but after that he is the biggest baby. He loves to play and cuddle. Always has to be toutching you when he's sleeping. So far when he has seen a new dog other then my yorkie he freaks out so I cant recommend him to a home with other dogs. Cats should be ok but still I wouldn't recommend. He's good with kids but again it still takes him a few minutes to get use ... (Read More)to anyone he meets. Ive never had any problems with him regarding aggression he has never bit anyone or anything like that. Just a lot of baking when he meets someone new. He's a great dog and needs a great home with a loving family. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Massachusetts
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Massachusetts if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.

lnteresting Siberian Husky Trivia Low-Cost Massachusetts Spay & Neuter Clinics
Huskies were bred from dogs indigenous to the Siberian Arctic. Huskies were imported to Alaska during the Nome Gold Rush. Huskies are named after tribes of Inuits called Huskies. Teams of Huskies were used during Gunnar Kaasen's 1925 run to deliver diphtheria vaccine to Nome. The last Siberian Huskies were exported from Siberia in 1930, after which the Soviet government closed the country's borders to outside trade.
