Rex is a playful 2 1/2-year-old boxer/husky mix who is looking for a home with an active family. Rex loves to play with balls and squeaky toys. He is too big to live with small kids so we suggest teenagers. Rex likes other dogs but he plays rough so he needs a dog to match his play style. He lived with a cat before and they were best buds! Rex needs to work in his leash training and learn not to jump on people. However, he is a lot of fun and will make someone a great companion! PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Massachusetts
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Massachusetts if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.

lnteresting Siberian Husky Trivia Low-Cost Massachusetts Spay & Neuter Clinics
Huskies were bred from dogs indigenous to the Siberian Arctic. Huskies were imported to Alaska during the Nome Gold Rush. Huskies are named after tribes of Inuits called Huskies. Teams of Huskies were used during Gunnar Kaasen's 1925 run to deliver diphtheria vaccine to Nome. The last Siberian Huskies were exported from Siberia in 1930, after which the Soviet government closed the country's borders to outside trade.
