Titus is only available for foster at the moment. He came to us with a broken leg that had to be pinned. The pin will need to be removed, at which time he will also be neutered. Titus is a sweet boy and he currently lives with 20+ other dogs and does good most of the time. He fights with our alpha male (a rottweiler) but plays nicely with all other dogs on the farm.

Meet Brandy, a high spirited dog who would love to be part of a forever home. She has not done well in a placement because she does not like other dogs and cats. But she LOVES people. She is very smart and learns quickly. The perfect home for her would be one that has a fenced in yard and plenty of exercise! Brandy has been with us now for over a year. While we try to save every animal, after too long a time in the shelter we do a disservice to the animals. We need to find Brandy a home before the shelter gets to her emotionally. Please help Brandy find a home!

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Kentucky
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Kentucky if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
