Mild mannered boy. Puppy playful. Feed separately. Goofy tail chaser. Loves to play fetch! Strong pack leader needed with husky and bully breed experience. Be prepared to let him sleep with you. He wants to be with you all the time in pure bully fashion! Not really a runner but still wouldn't trust off leash. Needs a fenced yard and a lot of lovin. Housetrained and crates easily. He's a people pleaser! Body like a husky but loyal like a bully. Honestly gonna be hard to let this guy go without some tears. He needs grain free food because of his skin. It gets itchy and I put coconut oil on his food for his skin and pads. His pads crack open ... (Read More)if you don't feed him right. He's a great dog! Saved him from euthanasia in a high kill shelter! Very special! Can you give him a great home? (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-12-18-00520Bandit (male)

Siberian Husky Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Some of you may remember Bandit (FKA Merlin) Bandit's mom has had a tragedy in her family and will no longer be able to keep her sweet boy. This is Bandit, a 1 and a half year old male Husky/Cattle Dog mix. Bandit is a lover who enjoys cuddling, giving lots of kisses, and wants to be as close as possible to his human or canine companions - even if it means sitting or laying right on them He is very playful and high energy. He knows commands such as sit, paw, down (to lay), come, and stay. He loves to fetch and happily will pick up and item you drop if you ask him to 'bring it'. He is very eager to please his human. Bandit is neutered, UTD on ... (Read More)all vaccines, microchipped and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Bandit suffers from significant separation anxiety and takes Prozac 40mg daily to help with this. He displays his anxiety through chewing. In true husky fashion, he is a professional escape artist and loves to dig. He does not do well in a crate due to his anxiety. He is vocal at times when he's wanting to play and to announce visitors. Bandit would thrive in a home with someone who can spend their day with him. He likes to be the center of attention. He has bonded with his current fur brother, but stands to be standoffish and vocal when he encounters other dogs. He has a moderate prey drive and would be best in a home without cats, small dogs or other small animals. .he lives with two cats, an over zealous player so he freaks them out and gets a bit too intense. Younger kids freak him out., older dog savvy kids who understand that a doggie needs his space would be ok Bandit has a lot of love and affection to give. He is looking for the perfect human who has the time to work with him on his fears and insecurities. He would love to have a 'job' or partake in agility activities. Please come over to our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/MushMisunderstoodSiberianHuskyRescue and see more pictures of Mr. Bandit! (Less)

Meet Bobo. He will be neutered and up to date on shots on December 13th. Of course Bobo has more cuteness than should be legal. He is assumed to be a 4-month-old husky/lab/pit mix, which means that he should be a pretty big dog when full grown. He is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Indiana
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Indiana if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
