Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Bella! This pretty little lady is in need of a new home and is located in Milton, Delaware. Bella is a 2 year old female Siberian Husky mix who wears her heart on her nose - literally! Unfortunately, her owner has gone through a recent divorce with work hours increasing and would like to find a more suitable home for her that can provide her with more attention, exercise and consistency in a schedule. Her owner describes her as extremely affectionate and lovable with a goofy personality. She will show her excitement by running in circles. She is crate and house trained and does very well in the home. She is spayed and has received ... (Read More)vaccinations in the past (will update once I have more info on those). No past incidents of resource guarding. Children - She has met several children who were elementary school aged and greeted them with kisses and a wagging tail. Her owner feels older children would be best due to her amount of energy and size. Tends to jump up out of excitement. No past incidents of bites. Dogs - She has done very will in the past with other dogs and will normally be the one to initiate play. She can be shy with some dogs, but is otherwise very sociable. No past incidents of fights. Cats - She has been exposed to 2 cats and can be rough with trying to play with them, but never tried to harm them. She does have a typical prey drive towards small animals (birds, squirrels, rabbits) and should not go to a home with any. PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Delaware
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Delaware if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
