Lucky is about 2 yeas old, he's a Husky/Wolfie Mix who was taken from a hoarding situation by our Humane society and given to us to socialize and rehome. We will keep working on his social and confidence skills while he waits for a home. His new family will have to be willing to commit to building his confidence and get a trainer to help them out if needed. Call or email Karen to learn more about him 480.229.9530 karen@2darescue.org

http://www.dogbreedplus.com/dog_breeds/gerberian_shepsky.php He looks just like the shepherd/husky mix at this link. He's a wonderful puppy, just one year old, had basic training. We are asking $800. He is beautiful, gentle and smart. We are rehoming because he is young and we are not. He is high energy, but not crazy wild, and he is wonderful with people - young and old. He has had two basic training classes and is very well behaved for a young dog. Born on September 18, 2016, and I (Philly) was the 'midwife'. Love my dog, but if we are to rehome, now is the time. We have a new bed from K-9 Balistics (he does chew some yet), and ... (Read More)it's suppose to be indestructible. He is use to bike runs about twice a day, but not sure we can keep this up for the next decade.... If you want this dog - think forever. Bring your family, and references! We love him, and this is an act of love. (Less)

AVAILABLE END OF OCT. Meet Nikki: A 2 yr old Female Siberian Husky. Nikki will be available come the end of Oct. 2017. We will take applications for her Now. Here is some info on her from her Foster Mom. Hi everyone my name is Nikki! I may be a proud new mamma, but that doesn't take away from the amount of love I have to give! I love everyone, but I always keep a special place in my heart for my special people and will follow them around loyally. Everyone who meets me Says I am such a Sweet, Loving young lady! The only thing I love more than pats and belly rubs is more pats! I don't really care for toys too much, I want nothing more than to ... (Read More)be snuggled close by your side. I'm still very young, but I'm not as high strung or hyper as most young huskies my age, I guess you can call me a mature young lady. I would do best in a home with a Male dog as I tend to like them better.. My foster mom has been working with me on being good in the crate, some food issues I had, (I just do not like when another dog is in my space while eating, so best to keep us separated while we eat), I am now house broken and would love a home with a doggie door. My past doggie friend was a Male and we were super together.. My foster mom says I am the perfect mixture of short and stubby that makes for perfect hugs. I know how to sit and shake and I have been told I have the biggest happiest smile. My wish is to find a loving home once all my babies are old enough and safe inside their own homes. Will you help me find my home? Nikki's adoption fee is $350, it covers our costs for her medical which includes, Spay, Shots & Microchip. Application if Interested in Nikki can be filled out on our Website here))) http://azhuskyrescue.com/adoption-application/ (Less)

Animal ID: KODAKODA (female)

Siberian Husky    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet KODA 1-2 yrs old, Spayed Female, Siberian Husky. Koda is a sweet and playful young lady. She took a few days to warm up to her new setting, and new dog pack, but once the play started, the fun didn't stop. Koda does tend to give off a warning growl to the other dogs when food or treats are involved but we have been working on sitting and waiting her turn to get fed and to get treats. Toy play has yet to be introduced into the environment. Koda is now crate trained and it only took about 1 and a half weeks. We can now open the crate and she goes right in, getting a treat afterwards of course. We are currently working on sit and stay. She ... (Read More)is able to sit, but gets overly excited when sitting for a treat. She pulls a little on the leash, but mainly to stay in the front of the line with the other dog. She enjoys walks and runs, and will want lots of water when she gets home. She would do well with a family with other dogs, big or small. We believe she would do well with other dogs that like to play. She often wants to be the center of attention, and will often interrupt when attention is being given to the other dogs. Sometimes it appears as she is trying to be the alpha dog. We were told she has been good around kids, but have not experienced this firsthand. Koda's personality is quirky and fun! When she is happy, her tongue hangs out to the side. When we get home and let her out of her cage, she is a pretty talkative pup. To show her affection, she often nibbles or snuggles on your ear, or any other jewelry you might be wearing. She does not bite, only nibbles when she wants your attention. Great Personality, Full of energy, Playful, Loves to go for walks, Extremely friendly, favorite treat are Beggin' StripsGreat Personality, Full of energy, Playful, Loves to go for walks, Extremely friendly, favorite treat are Beggin' Strips. Very playful and full of energy. Koda has been around dogs, but will need time to find her way in a pack so she knows where her placce will be. She has an absolutely amazing personality and loves to tell you about her day. She is great kids, her past owner had 3. Koda loves to show her affection by licking your ears and leaning on you. She loves to show you that you can trust you by nibbling on your hand. She loves to have her belly and chest rubbed. Her ADOPTION FEE is $350, it covers, her spay, shots and microchip. Siberian Husky    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Female Dogs Only, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Noctis is an 8-9 month old male Husky pup who has already overcome a lot in his short life. He has been with his foster mom since he was only about 2 months old, when he was surrendered to us after a spinal injury left him paralyzed in his hind legs. After some time, treatment, and patience, he has made a full recovery and is just a happy, energetic boy who loves to run and play! He is a very active, dominant boy with a high prey drive, who would do best in a home with a patient female companion, and no small animals or young kids. Another active dog in the home is a MUST, given his energy level and separation anxiety. He will need a buddy ... (Read More)to help him stay confident that he's not going to be alone. Noctis is a total ham, a love bug, and a TALKER. He's a 'typical' husky, through and through, and needs a husky knowledgeable home with humans who won't let him make the rules. He is crate trained, potty trained, has basic obedience training, and loves to ride in the car. He's working on leash manners, and is doing great so far (he would make a great running buddy)! And of course, he's neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations. His Adoption fee is $500, this fee will help the Rescue recover Thousands of dollars spent on his medical so far. Rescue Me ID: 17-08-14-00334Ginger (female)

Siberian Husky Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

Fred and Ginger (Gigi) survived the hot summer streets of Phoenix together early%A0July 2017. Fred is a tan German Shepard that is estimated to be 7 years old. He is a very affectionate and mellow pup that enjoys sunbathing on grass or relaxing on his orthopedic bad%A0when he is not seeking love and attention.%A0 Ginger, a husky mix that is approximately 2 years old, is full of personality. She is energetic and enjoys playing with her toys and other pups. She also loves to give kisses to everyone!%A0 Both pups are potty trained and use a doggy door. They are fixed and up to date with all vaccinations, and have had physical exams ... (Read More)including a blood test, a urine analysis, and tests for tick fever, valley fever, and heart worm. Both are microchipped. Fred has a medical condition called tendon contracture in one of his front legs %A0resulting from the%A0severe infection that he had when he was rescued. Although we were able to finally get a diagnosis and treat this severe infection, it is unknown at this point if the tendon contracture will resolve. With that said, it is possible that Fredy might have permanent limited use of the leg and will require ongoing exercises, heat, and massages to the area%A0to prevent the condition from worsening, and to remind him to use it as he prefers to hop around on three legs. He must also keep a healthy weight so that there is not added pressure to his front legs.%A0Fred's medical treatments are the primary reason why these doggies have been in foster care since July. However, they are amazing pups with wonderful personalities. Both doggies can be adopted together or separately. However, in order to adopt Gigi alone, %A0the adopter MUST have another young dog that is playful and energetic and engages in play with Gigi. Fred can be adopted with another older dog that also has a mellow personality or alone where the adopter can provide the attention and support that he needs. Fred is too interested in kitties and a home with cats is not recommended. A home visit will be required with a transition plan of about three visits to minimize their anxiety level. These%A0pups must be INSIDE dogs.%A0 If you interested in meeting Fred and/or Ginger, %A0please contact Diana at%A0(201) 926-3591.%A0 (Less)

Siberian Husky    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults

Kiba is a 6-7 year old husky. She is on the smaller end of the breed standard at about 30-35 pounds. We are unsure of the reason but she is missing most of her tail. Kiba is a mellow girl but still has a lot of excitement in her, and would be a great companion for outdoors activities or lounging around the house. She does well with other dogs as well as cats, and is good with children. Kiba walks well on a leash and does great in the car (she even got a road trip to California with her foster mom was so proud of how behaved she was!). Siberian Husky Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Emmy is an approximately 2.5 year old Husky and German Shepherd mix. She was rescued from the shelter just before she was to be euthanized for being a bite risk due to extreme fear. Her temperament at that time did support that evaluation, and it took a substantial investment of time and patience to allow her to trust people again. As this is the case, an adopter for Emmy MUST be capable of having the patience to allow her to develop trust for them. This means a secure home and yard environment, no attempts to leash her, and allowing her to initiate any and all physical contact. Emmy can not go to a home with children under 12 years of age, ... (Read More)and an adult home would probably be best to avoid any incident precipitated by a child unfamiliar with Emmy's needs making an error in early handling of her. Emmy is very friendly and comfortable with other dogs of small or large size and of either gender. If you can commit to the investment of a few months' time to earn her trust, Emmy will repay you with a lifetime of loyal companionship. We have seen this with our own eyes as we gained Emmy's trust, and we know she is capable of this same bond with you. Emmy would be an excellent companion for an active person or couple as she loves hiking and other outdoor activities. Emmy is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked. PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Arizona
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Arizona if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.
