This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only.  Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. Been trying to find this baby a permanent home. She just happened up at my sister in law's awhile back. Personally adopted her and when I got everything done for her that she needed brought her home. It has not worked out because she wants to be the only dog so she has been boarded at vet now for two weeks. Have spent over $300 to update shots, flea and heartworm prevention and boarding. She adores people. Is playful. Needs a fence or collar to keep her home. They say she is under a year old. Weighs 32 lbs and obviously has some husky in her. She is precious but with my other dogs this was just not an option after I saw the interaction. If ... (Read More)you are interested PM me with name, address and vet reference. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Siberian Husky in Alabama
Siberian Husky Dogs can make good pets in Alabama if they match your IifestyIe. The Siberian Husky is a large Spitz-type dog with a history of being used as a sled dog. Despite its ancient genetics and wolf-like appearance, Huskies are extremely friendly, gentle family companions. Huskies do not make good guard dogs. They are wonderful with children. Huskies do not like to be left alone so it is a good idea to own two of them. Huskies are smart but stubborn; they need firm training but may still disregard commands. Huskies should be socialized with other pets when they are puppies. Huskies need acreage on which to roam and should be sheltered from hot temperatures.

lnteresting Siberian Husky Trivia Low-Cost Alabama Spay & Neuter Clinics
Huskies were bred from dogs indigenous to the Siberian Arctic. Huskies are named after tribes of Inuits called Huskies. The last Siberian Huskies were exported from Siberia in 1930, after which the Soviet government closed the country's borders to outside trade.
